So much fun in one place
It's not a question of, "What can we do here?" in White River State Park. It's more like, "What CAN'T we do here?" With a couple of great museums, sculptures, the zoo and gardens, an IMAX theater, concerts on the Lawn and gondolas, pedal boats and bikes on the canal, there's definitely enough to keep you busy.

A great place to walk, ride or boat
If you like walking or jogging, the canal area is awesome. There is no better urban area for taking in city while enjoying some exercise. It's also a ton of fun to rent a kayak or paddle boat and cruise the canal. Of course, there are also the State Museum, Eiteljorg Museum, the zoo and everything else down there. You could spend a week just exploring and enjoying White River State Park. The best part is that it's also an easy walk to everything downtown.
