Home of the 23rd president, this three-story Italianate mansion features Victorian furnishings including many original Harrison pieces. Changing exhibits depict Harrison's life as Indiana's only elected president, his many accomplishments, family and the Victorian era. Recent additions include an elevator and a reconstructed two-story carriage house "old red barn" as it stood behind the president's house in 1888.

Croquet Anyone?
I participated in the Benjamin Harrison Home's annual Wicket World of Croquet Tournament over the weekend and had a spectacular time. There were forty teams, all in their "game whites," battling for the title of Croquet Champion. The games were very spirited and the folks at the Harrison House created an unforgettable experience. This was my first time on the property and on a perfect Saturday afternoon there was no place better. We were surrounded by brilliant gardens, majestic trees and, of course, the house itself. I did not get to tour the house on this day, but i will be back as I left with a very positive impression of this presidential museum.
